So happy to already see some of these. I really like how they decided to implement MAX mode in this one; way easier to understand (you can cancel into it for 1 stock and it gives you EX moves, right?) and not super-long, boring combos.

Yes, it gives you EX moves and depending on the rules of the special, you're only allowed to use it once in a juggle. My main complaint about max mode is that you can't do a DM when you have it on. Sometimes the DM for the character is better than the SDM. I assume they took it out because if you used most of your max mode meter but decided to use the rest of the meter for DM, it would be too OP so basically you're either forced to only use max mode or add in the extra meter for SDM.

Of course we could purposely try to end max mode and end the combo with a DM but not all characters have juggles that end that way.

...come on! You´re one of the most experienced and better KOF combo makers active! Did you became lazy? I´m SURE you can guess it by yourself! You can even see tiny bits of it in the transitions in beetween combos in our 3 KOF XIV vids!!!

Ok, then, I´ll help you in your lazyness, but everyone should credit me from now on whenever this setup is used just joking
You need to record Mai changing sides with you (roll, jump, etc.) at the start of the "recording time" so you can start running. Then, while on Max mode, she has to throw a kachosen/EXkachosen and after that, time as many EXmusasabi no mai as required so she´s wherever you want whenever you need her. With a bit of practice anyone could get it.

Man, you guys are really capitalizing on the demo version haha. I have ideas for Kyo and Sylvie but I think I'll just save the capturing until the full release is out. Very busy doing P4AU now because most of the popular combo makers contacted me, wanting to help out. If I have some time, I'll try messing with Shun'Ei, he looks like a simple enough character.

Well, right now I have lots of free time, so I do what I like most: doing combos.
We´re not used to do char specific vid, and I just hope that our quality level (or what we think is our quality level) does not suffer, so I expect anyone here to tell us if that happens.
While maybe evertything we have at the demo works exactly the same in the final product, we can´t be sure, so I decided to do vids for every char and, whe the game comes out crazinnes will grow even bigger.

That depends on what you want out of your combos/videos. I do character specific videos because it's easier for someone to look up the character they want to watch. Also it gives me time to work on one character at a time and allows for more videos to come out (unless someone can handle doing multi character vids for many episodes).

What people look for in combos are different so everyone is going to have an opinion. Most (if not all) of my combos serve some kind of purpose or highlight. If it doesn't serve anything, then it's just filler or "pressing buttons".

My KoF XIV Kyo combo video was a good example of "pressing buttons". I had no optimization in mind, I just did whatever I want in each combo. Basically I just released that to see how good KoF XIV would do as a day one video. Honestly, I think that's how 98% of the combo videos on the internet are like. Pressing buttons.

That's also the main reason the P4AU combo community contacted me was because I aimed for variety while still trying to reach 100% (reaching 100% in P4AU is nowhere as easy as KoF XIII). It gave them a challenge on their knowledge of the character they excel at since most P4AU combo videos just pressed buttons.

Everyone has their signature style and I think for you guys, it's zero damage and stylish combos.

I understand and agree in what you say.
As you said, we alwyas try to be stylish or cool or something like this in our vids, but being stylish may mean diferent things for diferent people. With that aim in mind is easier for us to do multi-char combo vids, and more dificult to do char specific vids, and that´s why we "fear" that our char specific vids may have lower quality (again knowing that quality may be something subjetive), and may have some "pressing buttons" combos (something that it´s not bad in itself).
It´s just like things flow for us. We look for "stylish" combos "instinctively", any other thing seems "forced" for us.
Anyway, I´m having lots of fun, so that´s OK for me.

I'm speechless considering how long the demo is out and how many people have messed with him, it seemed like you went with a completely different combo route for him than everyone else. I'm curious to see if you're up for the Sylvie challenge since I still have more optimized stuff from my latest video.

I´m gladly surprised that you liked it so much. Indeed, I thought this was going to be one of the weakest, if not the weakest, of our char specific combo vids.
For Sylvie, I don´t think I´ll have nothing extremelly incredible with her to show. Her Climax may allow for way more things than the ones that have been shown till now, but I have not explored its deepness fully.
