Re: SFxT Combo Engine Investigation
Was messing with Juri and noticed that if you do s.HP xx QCF HK the fireball will whiff, but if you tag when the Fuhajin kick connects the fireball will still come out and connect.

Re: SSF4:AE Combo Engine Investigation
Someone on SRK pointed out that Evil Ryu's counter hit airborne MK Tatsu has different knockback to all the other Tatsu. Allows you to follow up anywhere on the screen.
And I just noticed it's the exact opposite if you anti air the opponent instead O.o

Re: SSF4:AE Combo Engine Investigation
Weird stuff for E.Ryu.
Only MK Ryusokyaku seems to have JP1, L and H are at 0. EX is 2 (or more, unconfirmed)
His midair dive kick also has juggle potential (Why? O.o)

No idea if this is known or not but E.Ryu's close HK puts the opponent into juggle state. Unfortunately not float though

Other than charge shenanigans, is the game the same? For example, do you think you could do some of my Dhalsim Ultra rebound combos in the 3DS version?

Re: SSF4 Combo Engine Investigation
With the lack of hitbox data for Makoto's Fukiage, I've decided to experiment with some of the properties of the move. It seems that during part of the startup of the HP Fukiage Makoto is considered airborne. I think it may also apply to the MP and EX versions.

Re: SSF4 Combo Engine Investigation
Yes, every hit launches.
SH definitely has a JP of 5 maximum. I did a focus attack and waited until the opponent was aerial, did the Super which connected 6 hits, after which the Sonic Hurricane whiffed completely. Concludes that SH causes float on its first hit I believe, I'm a little tired though ...

As in the first hit knocking the opponent off the ground/out of the air, perhaps I have the wrong word.

High lariat? Do you mean kick lariat?
By the way, here are 2 images showing the different hitboxes side by side:

Just a quick note for anyone who's taken a look at the SSFIV hitbox data that's making it's way around the net. Re: SSF4 Combo Engine Investigation
Dudley's Rolling Thunder is so strange, it just doesn't seem to be able to connect with anything considered airborne. It doesn't hit anything in free juggle, and it doesn't hit at all after a focus attack if they're in the 2nd airborne stage of crumple.
Another oddity is that Dudley's rose doesn't ...
