Some of you may remember the fighting game screenshot gallery i compiled last year. It was relatively well-received and eventually followed by a series of weekly screenshots posted on Sonic Hurricane every Thursday. I’ve decided to carry on that routine here at ComboVid, with the same schedule. But first, i’ll need to import my entire archive of past screenshots.
MvC Captain America’s shieldless c.HP startup (with the shield dropping into his hand) against Wolverine’s j.LK startup, with Thor assist entering and Shadow (Charlie) assist exiting. Like they like to say in the comics, “Avengers Assemble!”
SFA Birdie trips Sagat with meaty c.HK sweep, then whiffs vertical j.HK over Sagat’s wakeup animation. It would’ve been nice to get Birdie a little higher but that’s as high as he goes.
SFA Adon’s LK Jaguar Kick startup opposite Sodom’s HK Tengu Walking, which was set up by jumping into Adon’s LK Rising Jaguar.
SFZ2A Sakura’s lvl3 Shinkuu Hadoken immediately after superfreeze matches M.Bison’s HP Psycho Shot startup. Those soldiers in the background salute whenever Bison comes near.
SSF2 Fei Long’s s.HP reaches out to Blanka’s s.LP and both attacks whiff harmlessly.
