Phoenix is the focus of Tsujigiri83’s newest Marvel vs Capcom 3 combovid. Most of these are combos you’ll never see in match play, simply because Phoenix players are so conservative with meter usage. But that only makes her more interesting as a combo video star.

This makes me wonder – what’s the most meter Phoenix can regain during a combo after a legitimate hit confirm into super?
You’d probably have to combo into super after 4-5 hits maximum, and find a way to follow up with a lengthy practical combo, but it should be possible to rebuild one full meter after the super, right? Then she could actually use it starting from 5 bars without risk of losing Dark Phoenix transformation.
