These are pretty awesome. In fact, I feel like tekken 2 combos are more impressive than tekken 6 because the game engine is more restrictive and since much more effort must be put into finding combos.
Yeah it’s pretty tough to make anything advanced out of a game with no projectiles and no corners. But then again, if Fei Long can have nice looking combos then i suppose pre-wall Tekken can too.
My question is always: How do they know it’s a real combo without a combo counter when the opponent can’t block? Like when they’re on the ground or when they have their back turned, how do you verify that it’s inescapable?
Hmm, I think you can only tell by juggles, but I’m sure 538 got a friend or someone to block and try to roll out.
