I know a little BlazBlue, so my understanding might be correct.

That Distortion Drive Litchi used, The Great Wheel, allows you to input a path for the staff to follow, while it’s still spinning behind you. After the staff is done following the path, it finishes by flying high and dropping itself wherever the opponent is situated. (DDs are this game’s equivalent to supers)

Jin responded with some counter-type DD. Him standing still for his dramatic line was just perfect for the staff’s final strike.

Litchi’s super (Distortion Drive) comes down on the enemy when it’s over. Jin used a counter-hit super. He then used a Rapid Cancel (Just like Roman Canceling) ending the move’s recovery and immediately taunted (just like @1:17) during which he was hit. Seeing as he did the same thing in the first round I’m inclined to believe that the player (OmniSScythe) either Habitually taunts after the cancel or was/is just too cocky (hence the taunting after the counter>cancel) and didn’t expect Litchi’s super to finish.

Haha instant kharmic retribution in fighting game form. That’s pretty cool. Thanks for the explanation sirs.

I remember seeing this quite some time ago, it’s hilarious.

The first part of the match made me go O_o
Why was the Litchi player blocking Jin’s D attack at the corner? Could’ve used her DP like in round 2. I feel this match could’ve gone to the Litchi player…
