It’s been a while since we’ve had an oldschool King of Fighters megavideo released. Aldevaran and Siedler Pompiani have revived the tradition with this ten-minute combovid featuring KoF96 through KoF2003, with a few guest authors providing an intermission segment.

SSF4AE2012 Combo Video by Snoooootch

This has to be one of the most entertaining combovids i’ve seen in a while, especially in contrast with desk’s Playing Street Fighter video released a couple of days prior. I can’t really explain it, but i enjoyed watching it; maybe because i can relate to everything on the bottom right.

KoFXIII Vice CMV Cruelest Edition by Dark Chaotix

  – Finding a 15-hit Dee Jay combo in a game without juggles or super moves is impressive, to say the least. Somehow eotwld666 keeps finding new material in this ancient 16-bit port of SSF2.

KoFXIII Leona Combo Video by Mienaikage / 01.06.2012
  – While this combovid is a little on the short side, it contains quite a few cool tricks, plus tons of flashy explosions. It’s even got a touch-of-death combo and a guaranteed guard crush setup.

T6BR Miguel Combo Video Vol.2 by tmd02 / 01.08.2012
  – I don’t know about you, but personally i think all combo videos could benefit from dudes getting bashed in the head by acoustic guitars.

XMvSF The Final Round Vol. 1 by Wolverine-Master

For those who don’t know, Wolverine-Master’s favorite game is X-Men vs Street Fighter, which he’s been exploring since it was released in arcades. He is proud to present the first episode of this multi-part special tribute that he has been working on for several months. Every combo gets crazy technical and inflicts 200% damage, killing both opponents.

KoFXIII Andy Combo Video by Mienaikage

While SNK has remained relatively conservative with Terry, they’ve always taken chances with Andy’s fighting style and moveset. This combovid demonstrates Andy’s potential from short corner juggles to extended touch-of-death combos. You have to admit, that Neo Max super is sick.
