Great stuff, it's always fun to see the small differences between this version and the normal version (Like the silly amount of hitstun on Balrog's CH overhead, juggling from ST into Vega's Izuna drop super etc). In the normal version Balrog can combo Full Ultra 1 into super by spacing correctly by the corner and juggling with the 2nd hit, would this be possible in the mobile version as well I wonder?
Maybe Doopliss isn't kicking ass, but he's taking names.

For the balrog super, Ultra, not possible on mobile. Balrog is a character where his super/ultra weren't give infinite juggle points. They were just given +1 over headbutt so he really has no juggles. Sagat on the otherhand has infinite on his super/ultra. So with infinite bar he could keep going supers and then end with ultra

So this is my video using the Ibuki Float glitch. I really wracked my brains to try and do the most I could with it.

I am writing the transcript and notes for it and will include it soon.

I'm also looking for some feedback on it.
Which combos did you like? Which didn't you like? The Fei combos are tiresome so how could I edit it? Any advice on how you showcase multi character combos? How do you like to group them? Do you think I should do a video explaining how it works, considering it is now patched out of the game? Any other ideas you want me to try?

Wow! That combovid with the Ibuki glitch (that I didn´t know about till a few minutes ago) was amazing! You really squeezed the posibilities
I like that this glitch creates "set-ups" where you can do otherwise imposible things. It made me think about those old glitch-centered KOF vids. I guess you had lots of fun exploring all that could be done!
I specially liked the Dee Jay combo where he is on ground level and his fireball is higher, and the Dhalsim one where he comes "down" with a drill to juggle after a fireball, but there were many other highlights.
I took a quick look through the topic and didn´t see it (didn´t read all) but, is there an explanation for the unique Fei combos?
I think the quick example at the begining to show how to achieve the "setup" should be enough.
About edition... I´m not very good at it, so there´s not much I can advice. I only try to do vids where the hipotetical viewers keep being interested, mixing the better and not-so-flashy combos, always trying to start and finish with one of the best combos, to arise interest and to try to make the viewer have a good last memory... in case the vid is watch fully!
Great findings and great work there. I wouldn´t mind reading some details about it.

Hey Combonauts!

Thanks you the feedback! I have a transcript (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Xp9 ... sp=sharing) but for the Fei combos: the attacker has no pushback in the corner (but some moves may move your character forward/back) so pretty much any character with +frames normals or a rapidfire gets an easy infinite with the glitch.

Do you have any good glitch combo vids you could show me?

Good stuff, I especially liked the Poison combos. Fei's basically doing this nonsense.

We did a vid for a bug with Kasumi in kof02UM years ago, while it may not be the best example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uypOTRdz_A
Other old kof combug vids were mainly of 2 kinds: Old school edition with lots of fancy fireworks, or the simplest of editions with just one clip after another.
In my opinion, there´s no need for too fancy edition. Maybe just a brief explanation at the begining and then the clips as you think will look better. Orderer by char or not is just a matter of preferences.
About the Fei combos, Doopliss example was perfect. I thought it was just for him, but it´s just like in old kofs, it seems.

As I mention in the vid what really inspired this was the glitch where you could continue to combo after Dhalsim's throw in 1.3 against certain characters (patched now). But honestly for years I was wondering what on earth to do with Dhalsim. I'd watched Maj's Dhalsim TAS (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYG3apK3Odc) and Doopliss' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrovD_TdvoM) endlessly.

General notes here for now:
- Thank god for the Throw glitch working on Gouken. He was wide enough and floaty enough. He is the only character the throw-->fadc loop worked on. Of note, if there was 1 more frame allowance after the throw, Throw, FA 2 would be an infinite.
- 9. Dhalsim;s backdash is faster. So you get to land the Ultra on a grounded character here for those juicy juggle points
- 10. Is one of my favourite combos ever. It utilises the projectile/knockdown glitch that we put in the 2014 EVO vid. I had to test a lot of characters and variations of timing/spacing/walking to figure this out. This combo is filled with frame perfect walking and inputs (of course). I'm not even sure this can be landed on any other character.
- 12. The Yoga Fire should pass over E. Honda but the Focus Attack juggles him into it.

That was really fun to watch. Lots of cool details, like whiffing upflame vs Guy. I liked the crossup combo against Vega a lot. It's just a cool-looking setup to see the jump happening so slowly, then having some technical benefit on top. That Honda combo is rad too. It's just so weird to see Honda fall back while Dhalsim is still in FA hit pause. I love unusual looking stuff like that.

Thanks Maj! High praise from you indeed! I was very happy with the vid because I managed to string together several 'cute' things together and I'm super happy people like you are able to appreciate it and be surprised

Great stuff! I love those throw extension combos, I wish combos like that were more common in the main game (Like, why can't you FADC Makoto's forward throw or something??). It always surprises me how much time you have to act after FA when the opponent is basically lying down.

6 Air Slasher DeeJay combo.

An example of a combo I thought was theoretically possible but would need TA to land. But I figured out the spacing to make it work and I'm very happy with it

Blanka Combos.

Really limited since Blanka only has the super that can juggle.

Small improvements from before:
* Added an extra normal to make 6 hits before EX Rolling attack. M. Bison's hitbox as usual does work here. (compared with here https://youtu.be/NeCUD3J2ypw?t=7)
* Ultra, Super link I thought was corner only for a while

Despite the limitations Blanka has some unique stuff here that he can't do in the console version. No way you can cancel EX Rolling attack from that range, and not into lv.2 focus. Also that midscreen Ultra to super was rather bonkers.

Well the limitation on EX Rolling attack is that if I do 6 lights before it, it's too far to cancel into EX FA lvl 2. You can see how wide Bison's hitbox is on the very last hit of s.LP where it visually doesn't even reach.

DeeJay

DeeJay was a little bit boring since his combos pretty much ended up in EX Jackknife Maximum or Ultra and for starters s.HP (CH) was just too good so I didn't want to overuse it.

Notes:
- for combo 2: Super xx Ultra only works on grounded opponents
- EX Air Slasher, Ultra I took inspiration from the Seth combo of EX Sonic Boom, Ultra
- Combo 14 is the most hits I could squeeze out (30)
- I previously did the s.HP, EX Air Slasher, Ultra with the glitch video but I found a grounded setup

This got posted today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSg20BTcnCg

Someone found a setup to remove juggle points.

You have to start interrupt Juri's EX Counter before it starts and that combo you do will not be affected by juggle points. Side effects: it's white damage and there's no damage scaling

If I have time I'll look into it

That's pretty bonkers. I'll try it in the console version for the lulz, but I'm pretty sure it's not gonna work. EX counter's active at frame 1, so it'd have to be an armor breaker.

Yeah it's not going to work on other versions since it's not a port

So I knocked together a quick video since I had time this weekend.

I really liked the Chun Li combo that can go infinite pretty easily without meter.

Really cool video, I like how you can juggle a 2-hit tatsu after Ultra with Ryu, feels so wrong XD

Wow, what a crazy discovery. I like every combo that has an ultra or super in the middle, especially Dudley's and Ryu's. Also really like the Honda combo for some reason.

Amazing discovery and great job working with it. Without juggle points AND no damage scaling, it´s like a new combo engine.

I also did a Chun Li Video recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjkkz0Fzj3A

The last combo is a paaaaaain to do. Having to delay the headstomps into Target Combo was tough. A little sad that all of Chun Li's combos end in Ultra. As far as console comparisons go, her kicks aren't +frames so no fun there.

Last combo was dope! I really liked the EX SBK juggle followups too. It's always cool to see the last hit connecting delayed like that. Though i was a bit sad that there wasn't a combo including both regular SBK and EX SBK. Seemed like it might be possible?

Last combo was me manually recording the combo we sent to you for EVO those years back but I stretched it out to have max hits since the community really likes max hits combos for some reason.

SBK isn't +frames on hit (even on CH) so the only way would be to start it AA landing one hit and then EX SBK into ultra... which would be pretty boring IMO

Guy combos for Guy. The most interesting thing was a week ago I found that Guy's pushback on s.HK and cr.HP are bugged when he's cornered so that let me get the setup for the last 2 combos. Having the crossover starter pushes them towards the corner just that much more for everything to come together. Luckily Vega had the right stun and the right size for j.HP to connect as a corner crossover.

Alos for the Elena combo, she has some idling frames that changes her standing hurtbox hence the need for the weird setup.

Also I noticed that Maj didn't do a TA combo vid for Guy. I did struggle a bit to find stuff for him

That side switch juggle combo against Blanka was dope! It's so weird seeing those s.HK links too. Just seems so not-SF4 to repeat stuff like that, haha.

Only reason i never made a Guy TACV is because he wasn't in Vanilla SF4. But yeah, he's a bit dry. I recorded some SSF4 Guy combos the first few weeks it came out, nothing special.

Generally i feel like characters needed a projectile to really shine combo-wise in the SF4 engine.
