Nice! The game isn't even available for purchase over here yet but I think I'll take my time with the game this time, compared to making day 1 videos like I normally do.

That's actually a good idea. If more people get into it, I would like to propose this to be an EVO 2013 project, yes?

I kept meaning to try the demo for this game, but never got around to it. I've been pretty busy lately, but i'm sure i'll pick it up at some point just to play through the story mode. By then it'll probably be too late to make any quick combovids for it though. Anyway it should be interesting to see whether it sells well and/or the FGC embraces it as a tournament game.

Btw i noticed j8slim has been posting short videos for each character, so you might find some cool stuff in there. I can't tell if they're any good, but the PASBR combos he used to upload were always worth watching.

Found some silly corner loops with Ares, for example:

H xx c.M, f.M xx H, H xx c.M xx c.S, b.H, Super

(f.M xx H)x3, H xx Super

Also, Grundy can do:

f.H, H xx b,f+M (MB), latest c.M xx QCB+M (MB)

corner: cross-up j.H, c.M xx b, f+H (MB), c.M (or QCF+L)

Use them as you wish, but giving me credit would be nice.

Does Grundy have a lot of combo potential? He looks fun.

He has some Meter burns that restands and groundbounces and stuff, so he has more combo potential than, say, Bane.

Btw, is it true that you can't grab someone that's in attack start-up, like in VF5? Bcause that's a horrible, horrible idea for this game.

It kinda seems like that, but I think I noticed that (in my experience) their move's start-up had them kinda ducking low, so maybe it's just the move changing the hitboxes?

Doubt it, I had Nightwing overhead me out of my running grab multiple times point blank.

Sorry for the absence guys, shit is crazy round these parks. The answer is HELL YES!!
Even though all of his damage comes from his chain grabs, Grundy is extremely flexible. He can catch you with his swamp grab from full screen away and still dash up to you and catch you. It's crazy. Besides my video, I'll be glad to lend a hand to anyone trying to learn him.
I made a Facebook group this morning and it seems to be doing really well in less than 24hrs. Perfect Legend, WolfKrone and others joined. So when everything gets settled, we'll have a nice amount of tech flying around.
Here's the page if interested: Facebook Page

The above Facebook group and I are working on an anti-air combo video. We're trying to show max damage from a down+2 anti-air. Looks good so far.
