mmmm I had not seen that Desk´s screenshot, im sorry, i only have a subscription to his YT channel...
But i guess that its not exactly the same glitch. This glitch only works with player two (according to our tests), and you need to do a tag move after the DHC to work. The size change only affects the "after tag" animation of player two. And in that screenshot, the "YES!" word its on the left side (pl1) so Dante is who does something, and the glitch affects player two. Its possible that Maximum Spider is involved (he is in the team) but the "YES!" word indicates that, if he uses that Super, he cancels Maximum Spider at the first hits. The fact that he also uses She Hulk (a super that will fail if you DHC with Maximum Spider, a necessary requirement) may mean he is using a similar glitch...
But... Watching it in more detail... He uses 3 Super bars. Interesting. Maybe a THC glitch? or a Snap back? No, a THC dont finish with a "YES!" word ( if connects propertly...) Mmm maybe he has not infinite super bars in that screenshot...
Man, I dont know, it seems like he is something similar to this glitch, but... the only way to know it is... ask him.

Desk said he will do an explanation vid on the screenshots, so hopefully he explains what is happening there.

As the She Hulk lvl3 is done from the left, Akuma gets "smaller". In the Desk´s screenshot, Sentinel is on the left, so is possible that he uses the same Super in the other side, making the Dummy "bigger".

yeah your right, looks a lot like the spider-man glitch
it's interesting here beacuse you can actually see akuma in the wrong possession during the throw
