Hmm, sounds alright, I think. One question Doopliss, which kind of music genre, do you really like? Do you listen to everything, or just a specific genre that you prefer, cuz I could make a suggestion and search for something, if you want to!?

Well, I listen to what I like, no specific genre. However, I only use video game music in my CVs. I avoid "real" music so that I don't risk a copyright infringement of some sort. Some things I want for the music in this CV:

1: It sounds "hot". I mean, the song in question would fit on a fire stage in a game way better than on an Ice Stage.
2: It's fast paced. See above.
3: Some kind of technoish or metalish theme is preferred I think.
4: Nothing from older games, NES, SNES etc.

I'm quite sure I'll need more than one theme, so if you an think of something else, lay it on me.

the Jet Set Radio games had really good ( but weird ( not as weird as Katamari Damacy tho ) ) sound track http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSZIej-ZraE
all the Wipeout games had great techno soundtracks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBYXgcFYxbY
you could always ask someone like desk if they have a song there not using

yeah, the jet set radio series has good music, but more in funky style, and wipeout too, but wipeout has so many parts that's kinda hard to find anything good in it!

Anyway, here are two suggestions for fast paced music:
for a Intro, for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At71B2KCwJQ
and that one for the first theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRQ4QbI8k3E

just two examples!!!

Shin onigashima will be my intro and first theme, I need something to finish it off with. However, you guys have given me a lot of good tips, and together with the options I'd already concidered, I'm sure I'll be able to find something that works in no time.

I used "Welcome to the Darkness Stage" for this video from the Chaos Legions game, it's not a great game but the music is very good, i have the soundtrack to it on my PC... I can't use sound at the moment, i'll have a flick through later (if you're looking for that kind of goth techno kinda thing.)

Actually, now that I've listen through a lot of technoish themes, I think It will be best if I pick a song in the same style as the one I currently have. I'm currently checking out the BlazBlue soundtrack, I was thinking about Jin's theme for a while, but he's an ice character, so no, won't work >:

If I can't find anything better, I'll use Thanatos. It's good to be prepared for the worst.

If you want some good electronic stuff go for trance. Some DJ's:

YOJI (or Yoji Biomehanika)
ONOKEN
Armin Van Buuren
Above & Beyond
Yuzo Koshiro (especially his Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune soundtrack)
ATB
Slyder

those are some of my favies, give them a go. And the cool thing is that they rarely got removed by copyright bullshit.

LOL, Try "Peace Sells", quite awesome song from them (I just don't think it could fit for a CMV, though, but certainly a cool song from Megadeth)

Got my 360 back now. If everything goes as planned, I should be done by the end of the week.

Pretty nice catastrophe setups, Doopliss! :)
Can't tell, which one I liked most, cuz they are to many stylish one's, in your video!

Btw, if you have another idea for a catastrophe setup, you could record and post it in Vecta's NB4 thread. Would be also nice, to have one setup in NB4.

I thought he'd already begun recording.

Btw, I'm reuploading the video because of a 5-bar combo.

Hahaha what the hell. Um, thanks i guess.

I like the elaborate Gouken delay setup, and 2:15 made me laugh. Sliding under fools is dope too. Nicely done sir, lots of really good stuff in this video. Jump jab on the way up into super? Way too good.

I wanted to keep the special thanks to one line, and saying why I thanked you wouldn't fit :3

The fixed version is up now, I replaced the links in this thread already.

it looks like ex fire is indeed a whole lot better in super, I could barely link ultra in vanilla. I suppose that cool fadc would work in vanilla but not any of the loops

I have to say thank you for the mention. Many fantastic comnbos in this one the teleport mid combo, the slide under to Super, the mid combo jump LP (mad that one)... my favourite combo has to be at 34 second in though

Great work

Yeah this was great stuff, hopefully people can appreciate how in-depth and specific this video is, but it's a treatment a lot of ultras/supers/etc. could use. I was glad to see that you snuck all the normals in there, as it would get boring if it always went for max damage. It's like some of those RX videos where he gets a midscreen unblockable with aegis and just presses buttons as they helplessly bounce back and forth.

Awesome vid, man! I really enjoy it, is very hard to do some of these combos by hand... And some set ups are simply great.
