Pooling Scraps

Has anyone cosidered this... I imagine it has been done before.

What are people doing with the footage that "didn't make the cut" so to speak? i tend to keep them in a seperate file where i innevitable delete them.

I would have thought however that if we all pooled a few combos in together & got some random fellow to do some editting it could make out a minor colab video that requires nex tto 0 effort? Worth a shot i think. (Unless people do do this with there scraps)

---

I did intend to make a video displaying characters options after a AA level 3 Focus Attack, part info part combo'y (usually round the end of any info vids i do i add a bit of nonsense comboing) but as it turns out i don't see it being very efficient so i gave up, this does leave me with a few scraps that now have no home. I've attached a file with some of the clips, if anyone likes to add any stuff they never did anything with i'll edit later & see what shit i can come up with.

there are about 7 clips, couple of Cody FA Lvl 3 combos, one/two pretty nifty ones, couple of Sagat ones, one ending with Super -> Full ultra, a Post Otoshi Sakura Combo & a Ryu one on Guile that generates exact dizzy & ends with aguile specific Ultra set up.

Reason i hadn't touched the Ryu & Sakura one was that i left infinite meter on, even though they do conform to meter restrictions.

---

That said i've never really worked on splicing various forms of video together so i guess there could be technical hitches i'm not aware of.

If something I do doesn't make the cut, it's because it's too similar to something else, or is too simple (for example, I did an Adon juggle once, that turned out to be a trial), so I just delete them.

It's a cool idea but i think the problem is you probably wouldn't be able to gather enough material passively before it started getting outdated. So you'd still have to actively record a lot of fresh material, which kind of puts you back at square one. Collaborations are never as easy as they sound on paper.

Yeah i've never done a collaboration before, well i did kind of do one but it never got off the ground & it ended up as X's video with one or two clips from Y & Z

You're probably right.
