KoF12 Combo Video Timeline

Even though this thread probably won't be as active as the SF4 one, it doesn't matter because KoFXII is a big deal any way you slice it. Speaking of which, looks like we have our first formal KoF12 combo video:

Hate to say it, but that looks really bad from a gameplay balance perspective. The worst part is a lot of these corner combos transition from almost the center of the screen, so staying away from the corner isn't much of a plan either. Can't wait to see the first semi-major tournament footage. The matches should end with ST-level quickness. If KoF12 was an arcade game, people would have to stop playing at 6pm cuz there wouldn't be any more room left in the quarter bin.

At least the animation looks great. And i like Iori's new attack style. How long is he gonna stay that way before he gets his purple flames back?

Plus i like how they made Ryo's counterhit s.HP xx DP look like Ryu's Shin Shoryuken. Nice and subtle, the way it's so meticulously entrenched into the combo engine.

well the big damage really only happens if you A. Have a super, B. have CC gauge, C. Get a counter hit with your CC starter. I mean yeah it does do tons if that happens like most character can almost finish off a character but CCs aren't really that common unless your good at baiting people into getting hit by them, its an interesting play mechanic in my opinion.

In some of the higher level matches (that Ive seen) you dont tend to see alot of CC combos. But you do see alot of baiting going on and in saying that, ive yet to see players sorta punish those bait attempts.

This game does have depth, but it sad that not many see it like that.
