Fighting Game Mystery Video Idea

Let me just say that this video concept is so far beyond my sprite editing skills, there's absolutely no way whatsoever that i'm ever gonna able to make it a reality. Also, it's kind of a dumb idea that might only ever get executed two years ago, back when we were all playing ten year old games with zero hope of any new Street Fighter game on horizon. Seriously, it requires a climate of complete boredom and stagnation.
Okay, so imagine the video starting with a black screen and fading into a post-KO still shot of 2I Necro laying dead on the floor with Effie crying next to him. His opponent was Ibuki, who isn't on the screen because she performed that win animation where she bamfs away.
A few seconds go by and suddenly CvS sprites of Guile and Chun Li run onto the screen. Guile asks Effie what happened via comic-book-style speech bubbles. She responds by telling them that Necro was about to beat his opponent Perfect until a killer combo reversed the tide. At this point, Guile and Chun Li proceed to play detective, trying to figure out exactly what combo Necro got hit by.
They start debating amongst themselves and the first thing Guile checks is the opponent's portrait (cuz they can see lifebars and stuff). Chun responds by saying something like, "That much is obvious. Necro's opponent is nowhere to be seen and left no trace, so we're clearly dealing with ninjas!"
Then they continue deducing what happened step by step, referencing lots of random evidence like Ibuki's score, the fact that Ibuki couldn't have dealt that much damage without using an infinite combo (!!!), and the fact that her super meter is completely empty so she must have used a super as the last attack. Once they have a reasonable conjecture, they add up the points of their hypothetical combo and compare it to Ibuki's final score for verification. This part can be done using a bunch of monochrome screenshots of each individual hit, along with the point value of each hit being tallied up onscreen.
Satisfied with the accuracy of their policework, they declare the crime solved and walk offstage. Then Effie says something like, "Wait, what?"
Chun and Guile move on to the scene of the next combo.
