nice video
normally when I'm ambushed by a pyro as soldier I rocket jump away in a random direction, no aiming involved and they never expect it, plus once I killed a cloaked spy with a completely random rocket jump.

I'm totally plugging whatever I want :)

I have a band and this is them! Here are 3 live vids, recorded fairly recently...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFzaXnlB7yw&fmt=18
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siQf05es_nk&fmt=18

Also, I've been making very random vids of SMW custom levels with 16-bit tunes I've written in the background. Basically showcasing tracks before we play them live.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8NjYY2jS4Y&fmt=18
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFaqQHOF0Gs&fmt=18

they're both sequels to this vid...

Loved Mantis Slash and Buzz Overlord the very first time i heard them. That weird pause between the intro and beginning of Buzz Overlord is awesome, and i still think adjusting your hat in the middle of a song like you kept doing in the first version of Mantis Slash is too cool. Float took a while to grow on me but i'm really starting to dig it too.

Using custom Mario levels to relay news updates about your band is a helluva advanced idea. And the full-blown ones are even more impressive. You had to write like four different melodies tracks for each of those, huh? That's dedication.

"The sweets are no longer important." Haha pure awesome!

So I'm working on a detailed guide to help people complete all the trials, and this is my explanation in how to FADC. Do you guys thing someone that's quite new to the game will understand this? I will explain all the abbreviations I use in the actual guide. also, this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-hQFTbnjJQ

Looks good, but you rushed the SBK input. You only need to do it that fast if you're doing a neutral normal, like lvl3 FA xx dash, s.HP xx SBK. Otherwise c.HP impact freeze is 12 frames which means you can easily charge for an extra 8-10 frames. So you don't even have to wait until Dan almost falls over.

Yes, I decided I didn't want all the guide videos on my main account. Gonna upload quite a few single trial solutions, and I didn't want to mash them together to one video. Btw, I can send you guys the textfile as well if you want it, it's around 11 pages atm.

Ok, but I had to do it on the keyboard to make the arrows look good, so what happened, happened. Now people also got to see roughly when Dan counts as airborne. But he's spring up a little before that happens, right? Thing is, I was doing s.HK xx EX SBK for hours yesterday, so I was kinda used to that as well XD

I've only written Ryus trials, and an introduction so far. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me any terminology I failed to explain. I won't explain stuff like cross-ups and zoning and similar, but stuff that will be used when completing trials. It's a .doc file, and I have img-tags instead of pictures, but the pics are not important, really: http://www.filefront.com/15704475/Doopl ... 0guide.doc And I'll remove the ":P" in the beginning, it isn't proffesional XD

Looks good, but i think the terminology section is a little long. I got tired of reading halfway through it. I think you're going to lose a lot of people who don't know any of this stuff and everyone who knows it is gonna skip it. So maybe it's best to move it to the end of the document so that you start with substantial info.

Also the conventional term for canceling light attacks into other light attacks is "chaining." Everything looks good otherwise. You might want to run grammar check though, cuz there's one mistake you made a lot, writing "this do not apply" and "your input have to be" when it should be "this does not apply" and "your input has to be."

Thing is, they have to understand that stuff if they want to understand how to beat the trials. So either they'll have to learn it all, or I have to explain the same thing around 100 times. It's not like you're gonna beat the trials if you have no motivation of doing so :3 We'll see what I do, my main concern atm is writing down all the trials.

That's the problem with not having english as your main language, small stuff like this slips through. I'm never sure if I should write "Ryus" or "Ryu's", for example. And I'll change it to chaining. and I could only find one place where I wrote do instead of does :S

Ryus is the plural of Ryu so you probably won't use it much. Ryu's means "Ryu is" and also means "belonging to Ryu."

I would be grateful, because sometimes I just know I wrote something wrong, but I don't know how to really write it >.< I'll send it to you once it's finished. I'm quite good at english, but some grammatic stuff will always slip through, especially since I never was any good when it comes to grammar.

Yeah - you are good, I thought it was your first language. Everybody makes mistakes though, and proofreading your own work can be hard...I think it would be rude of me to correct someone's mistakes without them asking first.

Generally speaking I write in a pretty slapdash manner, (especially online) so I'm always afraid to proofread my own work. I can spot mistakes just fine, though.

Nope, a forum friend, and maybe his cousin. His cousin buys him games just so that he can play online with him, so I guess he would pay quite the sum for something like this :P

I have a problem with my trial Guide. I don't know where to put it once it's done. It will be around 200,000 characters when it's done, and i don't like gamefaqs limitations. Does anyone have an idea?

A guide in a wiki? Might work. I will contact them later, when it is complete. Thing is, I need to be able to edit it freely.

I think once you register an account and it's approved (or however that process works), you can edit as often as you want.
