I'm this close to jumping of a cliff right now. I jsut dleeted ALL of my recorded combos, permanently. around 30 ish, some we're like once in a lifetime. I don't care anymore, I'm not sleeping until they are all re-recorded, and it's 2.30 AM here. Some fucking shit happened and the computer marked my 3 folders with clips instead of the 4 failed clips I was going to delete... At least I just managed to re-record that fucking Fei Long combo now, so there's a glimmer of hope. But I can't possibly remember all the combos I have done. And i won't be able to re-revord the Vega c.LP x6 no without my turbo controller.

Have you tried undeleting them? Maybe it's not too late to save some of them, especially if you haven't restarted your computer yet. Check out a program like undeleteplus or something similar.

we're probably talking about around 50 GB, so I doubt it. But it's worth a shot. I managed to re-record some of the hardest now anyways.

EDIT: Nope, not a single file. they were toghether in a folder which I accidentally deleted with shift+delete. I have to do that, because each clip is like 1 GB each, so I can't keep moving them to the recycle bin. But whatever, now I have a chance to remake what I didn't Like. And I managed to Record Fei Longs c.MP x4 and Vega's c.LPx6, and those we're the hardest ones.

Oh, it's probably a lost cause if you've been doing a lot of recording. Otherwise i don't know what would've happened. On one hand they're large files so you'd think the odds of every byte remaining would be slim. But on the other hand, it's unlikely that your computer would write all over 50GB so at least a few of them would probably stay intact.

Nope, largest files it could find was like 27 MBs. And I've recorded and deleted like 100 other clips since then. The god thing is that I will use the capture card for SSFIV, so I'm not limited to 30 seconds.

Midterm project for a basic film class. Slapdashedly edited in ~5 hours, but had to make a deadline, and for that it's pretty good. Gonna make my final project more expansive, better planned and edited. Feedback's still cool though.

Dang, that's pretty cool. I liked it, and clicked the appropriate button on u2b to represent my opinion statistically.

Haha did you plant the headphones and fye bag on that guy or was he a naturally occuring phenomenon?

yeah I didn't know that guy, he was just kinda...there. there's a few arcade creeps. they used to chill around TvC or the less-trafficked MvC2 when it was in the main room, just waiting for challengers. one guy played my PTX (big robot with ultra-armor) with ryu and i punched him out of Shinkuu Hadouken, and he said "they let you use bosses in this game??" and he just walked away from the game in a huff. needless to say i didn't really ask him about an interview...

ah, right after zack says "yeah you know some people" at like 0:52 there's this quick little montage of people, i'm the first white guy with the needs-to-be-shaved chin and turquoise shirt. i'm playing mvc2 with my friend, even though i shouldn't ever be playing mvc2 unless it's free

It really is...it really is.

It was the first time I tried shooting the project, there was nobody there, so I contemplated having a shot from behind us, but then I cut it out because it felt fake.

still have the footage though, I have to upload our match video as a joke when I get the chance.

LOL sorry, I was making that joke all weekend cos I kept hearing about this Tekken machine with the panel to the service buttons left open.

Pretty cool video, it's interesting to see what arcades are like in different places. Me and Remxi sometimes go to this place which is like a trading card shop with 9(?) cabinets or so, and we bring consoles and monitors n stuff. The point of the video is spot on tho, you can't really get good just playing online, imo anyway.

What do you guys think of the editing? Pretty awesome right? Awesome terrible ...

Maj that's awesome. Really slick, clean style, cool use of text and not so much going on so that the editing 'gets in the way'. The tie to piano key transition was combo vid smooth too, lol. If you have time (which I'm sure you don't) you should try to edit more non-combo vid stuff. Though I'm still rubbish at it, I always find it really fun after doing so many cv's.

My band just released our 2nd EP...

http://calciusrepton.bandcamp.com/ (you can listen to the whole thing here)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbv8yp3JAdQ (random footage from the recording)

Quite technical, self indulgent and generally not terribly easy to listen to if you like vocals or guitars... or hooks... or popular music. You should definitely try though, If you only listen to one, go for 'Nausea & Ketsui'.

Nice nice nice stuff, desk. :)

Well... dunno how many of ehre are followers of house, dance and club music, but anyway... I wanna plug here my latest megamix.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7D2LP732

It's a old school house Megamix of 35 minutes aprox. I'm using from some game music to some classic 90's nostalgia house beats.

The playlist it's as follows:

- Hideki Okugawa - You Blow my Mind (Dudley theme, remix from DC with the Stupid Dope intro, hence the name)
- Yuzo Koshiro - Go Straight (Gecko Yamori Remake Remix)
- Hideki Okugawa - You Blow my Mind (SSFIV Remix)
- Moloko - Sing it back
- Kristine W - Feel what you want
- Jamie Lewis & DJ Pippi feat. Kim Cooper - So Sexy (track based on Feel what you want, btw)
- The Dobbie Brothers - Long Train Running (S'Albertsch Schwiizer house mix)
- Sophie Ellis Bextor - Get Over You
- Ultra Nate - Free
- The Solid Gold Playas - The Best Part (Wise Decision Mix)
- The Ones - Flawless
- George Michael - Flawless (Go to the city). (indispensable to add in a mix if you put The Ones's version).

Enjoy.

So, here's an 46Minute Liquid Funk and Atmospheric Drum n Bass Mix of mine, that I finished last month!
Well, if you are spontaneous and open for any kind of music, listen to it. If not avoid it!
I'm not sure, but I read somewhere in a thread, that you CPS2, are interested in Drum & Bass Music and
would mostly use it in an Combo Video, maybe I'm wrong.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TB16ZMNY

Tracklist:

01: Break - No Company
02: Zero T and Mosus - Call Waiting (feat. Steo)
03: Sunshine Anderson - Heard it all before (Dj Marky Remix)
04: Donnie Dubson - Intentions
05: Nu Tone (feat. Talc) - Jet Stream
06: Icicle - Lost Hours
07: Omni Trio and Deep Blue - Station to Station
08: Lenzman - Memory Loss
09: London Elektricity - Wishing Well (Danny Byrd Remix)
10: Split Second - Tequila Sunset
11: 4 Hero and Goldie ft. Diane Charlemagne - A Better Place (Marcus Intalex, ST Files Remix)
12: Greenfly - Electrofusion

Anyway, much fun with it.

^whoa I didn't see this. Listening now, sounds good man :)

I have something to pimp as well...
A trailer that me and my friend Kientan made:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dbOOLX0uzE

He did all the editing (the hard part), I just did the story-board, videocapture and found the music.
Pretty cool seeing stick figures turn into a video in a few days lol.

Hey, hey, saw the trailer of yours and your friend, CPS2.
I must say looks overall really nice, like the music, and the edition looks professional.

Good work! :)

LOL, sooo sick! Didn't think they'd want to post anything that wasn't SSFIV.

Eventhubs usually add an extra 10'000 views but let's see how many people actually click on a vid that has ST as the preview image, lol.

Awesome work dude :D
