It's possible Oni's U2 in AE was influenced by this. The pose during the 2nd hit and the pose at 3:14 in this video is almost exactly the same. They both also have the massive vertical movement.

I haven't played L5R in forever but i still follow the stories and card previews sometimes, so i thought this was kind of cool. One of the major factions in the game is called The Dragon Clan, and they have a large contingent of kung-fu monks. This is an action card from the upcoming Second City set:

That Yamazaki was pretty dope. I liked that ghetto CC to overhead gimmick. I watched until he got knocked out in the second match. Looks like he didn't know how to fight Bison at all. His replacement wasn't as interesting.

Haha i don't know where to even begin cleaning up this thread. It's gone in like four different directions at once! And this CV discussion probably deserves its own thread. Nice Ken and Dan combos though.

Old but really good CFE match. Despite the game's flaws I really don't think it was as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. It was a good idea, but the execution was just a bit off. This match is really intense and I can't help but wonder if playing a 5-round match is wise against a Red Earth character. XD

The answer is generally no, but Guy vs Kenji actually looks like a pretty good matchup. Every round was close and varied.
