Heh, are they still active? That's a surprise.

Anyways, their video was fine... had tons of set ups and stuff I've never seen (some bugs I'm not really familiar with like Maxima's multifloat or Bao's ghost fireball to mention a few), perhaps those bugs are exclusive of the Evolution version and might not appear in the original NG version. Some combos were already shown or improved by the Chinese '99CU team and some are ridiculously basic. All and all has entertaining material and some WTF moments, especially with the unknown bugs and some creative situational stuff.

By far, the best combo material i've seen for this Game.

Yeah I remember that infinite(?) cl.HK, walk, cl.HK, etc...it's really hard, because if you hold forward for too long, you'll get F+HK, which will push them way away. Good stuff, I'll have to watch the full thing later

I just like all the combos into SA2, but i guess that was before they turned it into a true grab. Crossup air knife into SA2 still looks dope though.

It's an air hadouken
The secret is it's Street Fighter Alpha Anthology playing hyper street fighter alpha using the special Red S-ism that gives characters marvel moves

Yeah but who would've thought that reflecting it would keep it alive for a billion years? Or that it would move so slow? Or that it would combo after a throw? I'll bet she can even do that with Akuma's LP air FB in regular A3.

Eventhubs combo video collab: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXSOhWe9fPo!
Ok guys, so it seems it's official. We are no longer needed here.Maj, thank you for everything you've done, but you can now close these forums forever.
Needles to say it' generaly not interesting ,dispalys no new comboing techniques(like all the madness of breaking cutscene ultras we did in vanilla), and the second song is very gay(sorry but it really is).Sorry, there was an interesting combo with abel, where Abel did AA cr.fierce cod (wiff), kick part of cod Fadc ultra.Wait, i think i've seen that before.Oh, yes, in Dooopliss' combo vid.Classy stuff EH.It also has an impossible 5 bars combo (one at 1:10, don't know if there are more, can't be bothered to rewatch it).
But, this is it.Our work is done, seeing how we got another community doing our job.It finally happened. We have been outclassed. It was an honour to work with you guys.*tear*
But seriously, can the same combo vid NOT be released 10 billion times?I'd rather not release anything than making yet another "the same combo vid everyone posts",hence why i haven't release a combo vid for SSF4 yet (but will do soon-ish).

I've seen the "2nd low xx FADC" juggle in several videos, but none of them were older than mine.

Wow, yeah that's ... pretty bad. Over seven minutes and i don't think i saw one new thing. Some of the Gen stuff was kind of nice, but a looong way from optimized. And i liked that one Seth ultrafreeze at 4:09 with the Sonic Boom impact.

Also i think i've seen a lot of these clips in older videos already. Maybe they were submitted to this project and used in solo combovids while this was under development? Either way, it doesn't help the "old and stale" situation at all.

Um, should i post this on ComboVid? Lately i haven't been posting any vids that have no original content, and this isn't exactly groundbreaking. At the same time i kind of feel bad for these fools. I'm sure they put a lot of time into this video even if they had no idea what they were doing.

They sure put something into it, but the sheer fact that it goes under the embed of "Eventhubs" is ughh...It's surprising that alot of people are amazingly impressed by stuff like this, and the ones who dare not comment something like "amazing" or "best combo vid ever" get trolled to death.
So, what have i learned?Make a video with ryu doing cr.mp ~ cr.mp xx hadouken, then replace the 2nd cr.mp with cr.mk and cr.hp to get views, congratulations, profit.

You can't pay much attention to the "internet masses" when it comes to praise. They spend more time looking for "epic" words to exaggerate their approval than actually processing what they're looking at.

The bottom line is there's nothing new in that video, so it's a waste of time for us to watch. But that doesn't mean other people can't enjoy it - if they haven't been following SSF4's combo timeline as closely.

edit: On second thought, i'll leave it up to them. If they contact me about it, i'll consider it. If not, then that's a potential mess i'd rather avoid.

I'm quite sure the video shares some combos with that female CMV posted a few days back.

Well, I was planning on doing an extravagant combo with dan, ending with Super taunt, roll, U2, but I guess I can't now. I mean, it's not that I was gonna do it as a COMBO combo, but it was gonna go down as part of my combo challenge video, cause oh yes..... I have a combo challenge.

Lol, nobody holds you from doing that combo, especially if it's in a theme, as you describe.

Can't remember if he actually rage quit on me.

Snooootch, you should still rock that combo. I capped a super simplistic version of it myself last year to do some 'stage transition' editing with(during the ultra zoom). And I'm still putting it in the vid if it ends up fitting. It's your video and you know you came up with that idea independently.

EDIT: the relevance of that screepcap is that piercehinchon is the guy who did that eventhubs vid. Just in case it seems like I'm a mental person.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'll just have to make it look better. Like with Dudley's rose taunt interrupting, or something like that. Thanks Desk!

Huh, he did a Duck Straight as an armor break, then linked c.LK or something. I thought you said armor breaks doesn't gain any extra frames?

Oh i meant they don't gain anything extra. Armor breaks are automatic counterhits, so you still get the standard counterhit bonus.

yeah i saw desora favorite the test clip, those hitsparks looked familiar

also, on the meaty counter-hit HP into U2, the annotation is "持続6大P~UC", which is like "continuation toward+HP~ultra"...i guess "jizoku", (the japanese kanji there) is one way of saying "meaty", as the active frames are continuing/sustaining?
