The initial idea of the Video was to make a Guy Tutorial (With Gameplay, Strats etc etc etc + The Combos) but i thought it was useless because there's another Guy Tutorial out there so, i prefer just to focus on the combo side only.
Maybe the next week i will do the same but this time with Sakura.

I have a question, though...

the part of the anti-air... are those anti-airs reliable? I mean, for example, the jump ins have no attack, how reliable they can be to be used as in the CMV in a real battle?

Yes they're reliable, when you're playing Guy you best anti air Friend is S.Fierce, is the common used antiair (and S.Jab too).
I know, i must used some jump-in attacks to make the situations a little bit more "real", my mistake =(
And yeah, sure, give it exposure on CX, you dont even have to ask me the next time ^^

By the way, i'm only going out of my way to clarify the distinction between SFA2 and SFZ2A so that people don't get confused. I actually didn't find out about Z2A until looong after i started getting into engine trivia, so i think a lot of people don't even know it exists.

Beyond that, my personal opinion is that "Z2A is cool but SFA2 is superior." That's just my opinion because everyone i've ever played Alpha 2 with prefers the original. But everyone i've played Alpha 2 with lives in one city, and the world is a big place.

I really hope we don't get to the point where my simple opinion about this kind of stuff is given more weight than anyone else's. If you think Z2A is better or if you want to make Z2A-exclusive combo tutorials, don't let my preference sway yours.

The last thing i want is for everyone to make videos the way i would make videos. That'd be kinda boring.

he uses both z2a and a2, you can tell by the super and life bars, most of it is from a2.

For this Sakura video i used SFA2 (USA) and Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha (Asia) Upgrade, unlike the guy vid that was all over Z2A.
In competition therms, everybody chooses A2 over z2a for obvius reasons (no stupid Nerfs, no Damage reduction on CC's, AC Meter Cost, Gief Magic Grabs, etc etc), but when in comes down to combos, z2a is a little bit more superior in my opinion, but i like to switch between the 2 versions and try to show some "exclusive" stuff for each one if it possible. 98% of the stuff in the video works in both versions, there's no major differences.
In this video for example, the Sakura vs. Birdie Link Combo @ 4:11 (C.Shortx2, S.Jabx2, S.Fierce XX Shinkuu Hadouken) only works in SFZ2A Only, a lot of 1 frame CC's are hella easy to perform in Z2A unlike A2.
I was thinking to use different character colors to make the difference between versions (like the Alt.Sakura Costume for z2a Combos) but maybe the next time.

Chapter 1 was entirely Z2A (even though it was entitled SFA2) and now Chapter 2 is like 50/50. I'm happy there's more A2, but i would also be happy with stating my opinion and having it ignored, when it comes to stuff like this. Like when i say "nobody played CvSPro" i'm not trying to get anyone to stop playing it. Just saying what's on my mind.

I keept in my mind the suggestion you told me in Twitter about making the vid all over SFA2, and that's why most of the combos were recorded in that version.
For me is much like the same thing, but yeah, is even better to make the vid over the most popular and played version just not to make the viewers confused or think that the combos works only in z2a.
i really like when somebody like you give me suggestions or critics (good or bad, it doesnt matters) about my work, because it helps me a lot for future projects and continue evolving with it, so your thoughts are always more than welcome Maj.

Dont know that yet, i'm planning just to cover the characters with many combo options like Sakura or Ken for example, but then, you have this non combo friendly characters like Birdie or Dictator that are actually a problem to do something substantial with them.
Covering all the characters in the game would be something ideal for the project, but i think that there's no point on doing a 20 sec. video showing the options for Birdie...i need to find a possible solution to that problem in the future.
Currently im working on a Nash combo review, but i've been very busy this weeks with some University exams so it has to be delayed maybe for the next week.

What i would do is work on the most interesting/promising characters first and worry about the bad ones later. Then you can start pairing up the boring ones, or maybe just throwing the last five into one video. Chances are they'll all be grapplers anyway.

I had that in mind as a possibility, making for example a Birdie and Gief video the two characters in one, or maybe just to make the video a little bit longer and substantial, adding some tips and trick for "x" character...for example doing some sort of tutorial for Gief's Magic Grabs set-ups would be cool to.
But yeah, i'm more focused on the "interesting" combo characters at first, i will let the boring ones for the end.

Thats is "counter damage on Gen's C.Fierce when he's on crane pose.
There are other examples like Birdies "final" counter damage on gen C.fierce that i will use on next videos.

I almost forgot, that "glitch" only works in Street Fighter Zero 2, not Alpha 2.

Not only Alpha Counters, some special moves like Birdie's Bull Horn do some extra counter damage on Gen too.

Oooh I love the whiffed LK Tatsumaki in the first Akuma combo. Interesting find on the Chun-Li combos, I know nothing about A1 but these are fun to watch. Any chance of getting all three Chun supers that way?
