I've seen this uploaded/subbed by two different accounts, but this one is of higher quality and an earlier release; don't know if people knew about it then:

Norio Wakamoto (M. Bison) still has a great voice even when not acting, and Sakura's VA is pretty damn adorable

I like that he says "I don't remember how I did it in the old days - I think I just screamed a lot", because I was looking at HnK recently, and now this scene came to mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJfSowdyRR8#t=6m21s

Aaaaalright, here's the Absolute Battle video I've been working on for over a month.

I hadn't had a chance to work on it much because of school, so it may be of an older context, but still, I like it, and I loved the experience.

So in the last couple years sda has been changing there policy and now will accept speed runs for basically any game type ( cept for shmups, because that would be silly )
before the only fighting type runs they had where the punch out and smash brothers games.
anyway this recent street fighter run made me think about it
http://speeddemosarchive.com/SuperPuzzl ... Turbo.html
so far the only fighting game type run recently published is Castlevania Judgment, but runs for Bushido blade, msh, and aof will be published very soon

Reading a few of their comments, it doesn't seem like they're particularly encouraging of fighting game speedruns. You'd probably have better luck if you found a "rival" or something. Just so the spectators could see some sort of dynamic progression instead of waaay oversimplifying things and convincing themselves that it's all about finding "the best combo" and repeating it over and over.

not sure what comments you read, but speed is the only goal so they do tend to be boring. I can't wait to see the aof a msh speed runs because it sounds like it uses more then one attack. I'm personally not interested in doing fighting game speed runs, I don't see how they can not be so repetitive.
as an aside, what would be the repeated combo for sf4? c.mp, mp thunder knuckle would probably be the best if it didn't dizzy so easy. Dictator walk forward mash hk is really good too.

Yeah it's not so easy as people make it sound when they say "Oh just repeat the best combo." I don't think anyone can predict it on paper with any degree of accuracy. Even if you were to find the most damaging combo, it's probably not gonna do exactly 50% damage or 33.34% damage so you can repeat it without wasting any time. Plus your bait setups are gonna be different against every opponent, and so on.

This is pretty awesome.

Snow Collapses Metrodome

I guess the Vikings stadium dome roof is a bunch of tube-cable things covered by an inflatable canvas. Minnesota had record snowfall over the weekend and the weight of it caused the material to tear. They had a bunch of cameras inside filming the whole thing as it happened, and it just looks dope.

P.S. Sorry for linking to a fox news website.

lol, that would have been so awesome if they where playing at the time.
Does the NFL have a rule that covers when the roof collapses and half the field is covered in snow.

I'm pretty sure they keep playing if it's just snow. That said, there's almost certainly policy to handle stadium failure (like power outage or earthquakes).

If that had happened during a game, there's a good chance someone could've died. Especially if it happened right after a hard play where eveyone's laying on the ground half-unconscious.

Otherwise i don't think they have a problem with playing in snow or heavy rain. In fact the Vikings wanted to move the game to the University of Minnesota field which was totally covered in snow, but it couldn't be prepared in such a short time so they had to move the game to Detroit for today. Btw they're giving away free tickets in case anyone's in the area.

I don't think anyone would have died, I mean they could see it was happening, it was a gradual failure, they had at least three video cameras trained on it

Probably not, but concussions are very common in football. So imagine it happens right after a play where someone gets a concussion or hurts their foot. Can you picture someone carrying a quarterback off the field? Maybe. Can you picture someone carrying a 300lb linebacker off the field? Doubtful.

And that's a lot of snow, heavy enough to break the roof, covering a lot of ground at once. The field looks small from that angle but you'd have to sprint at full speed to get the hell out the way. I mean, you can't tell where it's gonna tear when the entire roof is falling down at once. The smart thing to do would probably be to run towards the stands, since it's more likely to break closer to the center. But the bottom line is you're guessing. You can't judge by the leaks because it was leaking in at least four spots all across the field.

They'd have to be helluva stupid to keep playing while it was leaking, but if they had kept playing then someone could've gotten hurt real bad.

On the other hand, if Brett Favre's consecutive games streak ended by avalanche, that would've been pretty fucking epic. Instant legend status.

Man, am I lucky or what. I picked this up at an electronics store that is about to close. On ebay, you would have to pay 95£ for this, I paid around 10£. Now recording from SSFIV and other console games won't be such a pain.

This is another one of those threads that's going to remain active forever, so i'm going to be restarting it every year. Here's the next in line:

Random Cool Stuff 2011

Also i've renamed it from "Yo check this out yo" because that was kind of confusing and people kept posting combovids in here.
