I forgot to mention that there are two cheats enabled for the non-dizzy and unlimited super bar on the first video. These were done using the kawaks emulators with the enabled cheat. Please know the focus of the first video was not the combos but was just of the Bison intro.

Well I'm certainly sure that, with all the creative power gathered on this board, a quietly great comedy video could be done;

I guess everyone knows what was used too often and what's worth to be shown, so I'll just post possible ideas and inspirations:

This is a really dumb idea and i wouldn't want to waste any time actually making it - but i noticed when Urien cancels fireball into SA3, he starts saying "Kill" and immediately interrupts it with "Aegis Reflector" so he ends up saying "Kaegis" instead. That got me wondering if it would be possible to make characters say dumb/silly things by canceling one attack into another at the right time.

... No one notices it, whether it's funny or not, i think it'd be really hard to subtly get people to pay attention to the audio.

Hopefully people found the T.Hawk combo funny after it, though generally besides spamming & trolling i think it would be very hard to make a comedy combo video.

Thinking back to your "Ode to the two hit combo" i found out a section of MGS2 (played recently) where you can knock out about 8 people in 1 hit. Did you accept that kind of thing in the making of that video. (Fantastic CV btw.)

We were pretty much open to anything if it clearly looked like a 2-hit combo. I can't say for sure without seeing the clip, but there was some pretty random stuff in that video. But that's another video that would never get made today, and probably wouldn't get shown at Evo either.

Haha that's pretty good. I remember those moves being added in real time, back when SNK was making lots of games. She would get one more Shoto move every year, and they were more and more blatant ripoffs. Pretty gutsy!

You know i think this thread is so old that "funny clip compilation" videos didn't really exist back then, but tbh it would be pretty hard to top those. There's a lot of footage being made daily, it doesn't have to be technical, all those editors have to do is find other people's stuff, and they even have help doing that.
