I figured I'd combine a greeting with a bit of a challenge.
First, hello to everyone I know and everyone I don't. Glad to be here. This should be fun. Evo2k7 sure was.
Something at evo reminded me of this glitch, so I'd like to resurrect it: Back at B2 (February 22, 1997 according to this), we had an in-tourney glitch which I hadn't seen before and haven't seen since. It was a SFA2 chun-on-chun match (imagine that!), and both chuns did simultaneous or near-simultaneous poofball supers. The supers overlapped each other, but no one was hit. After that, chun's fireballs acted much like dan's, disappearing after a few inches.
Notes below (y'all will soon be used to my numbering everything):
1) I can't remember if it happened to both chuns or just one. I believe it was both cause I have a vague recollection of an entertaining exchange of alternating whiffed disappearing fireballs.
2) I think the effect was reset after someone got hit.
3) They replayed the match.
4) No clue what level the supers were.
5) No clue which button the fireballs were done with or if it made a difference.
6) I later attempted to recreate the bug under controlled conditions. I tried different super levels, and I think different timings, but failed to reproduce it.
7) Was there a B2 vid? I feel like there was and this might be on it. In fact, I might have it at home...
So, perhaps in the meantime this bug has been documented and discarded, but if not, have at it! I am gone for a few days, and won't be able to experiment with it myself until next Tuesday at the earliest. Enjoy.

Okay I got it to work, I'd make a video of it but Im on a different computer than what I normally do.
Basically the way to do it is get them close enough so that when they do a regular fireball simultaneously there arms will cross but the fireballs will cancel out. Now do simultaneous lvl 1 puffballs. Hopefully at this distance no one will get hit. Now one of the chun-lis (I think it's whoever did the super last) will get fireballs that disipate at herhands as if stopped by an invisible projectile.... Doing a super or hitting her negates this effect. Weird!
EDIT: btw when I say close enough for arms to cross but the fireballs cancel out, I mean as close as computerly possible without smacking each other in the face.
EDIT AGAIN: So if the first super hits you can still get the effect, so far I've only gotten it with player 2. But important not the fireball has no hit box at all it immediately collides with something invisible that disipates it.
