It's been a while since i've done one of these overviews, but Sai-Rec was my favorite combo maker group. It's strange not to have one for them. They basically pioneered over 80% of CvS2 combo engine exploration. Every one of their vids blew everything else out of the water at the time it was released.
Unfortunately i don't know much about their individual members. They posted briefly on SRK and GCC, with Ceronias handling much of the communication. The only others i talked to directly were Mem (aka Amemiya Seikou) and their editor, Ayanamililith.
Their website hasn't been updated in over five years: Sai-Rec's homepage
Their three main CvS2 videos are all available on u2b, uploaded without their permission. Search for "sai-rec harvest" and you'll find them. "Harvest" and "Harvest 2" were both sold as VHS tapes (or maybe DVDs). Both of them were primarily CvS2 videos, but the first one contained random CvS1 combos for certain characters. The second one is my least favorite of the three - because they focus too much on dizzy/damage setups, which leads to way too many generic Rolento knife interrupt setups.
Their third video is their best work in my opinion. It's 18:45 long, with a 2:30 preview trailer included at the end. Every combo is build around an interesting, creative concept. None of them feel like they were thrown in just to fill in an open space. Unfortunately this video was never completed. Several characters are missing completely. Apparently it was previewed at some convention, and somewhere along the line, someone leaked a digital copy. I'm sure this contributed to Sai-Rec abandoning combovid-making, although i'm sure there were other reasons as well.
Anyway in case you guys don't know, ASR (who joined cv/f three weeks ago) was one of the members of Sai-Rec. He hasn't posted yet but it's awesome to me that we have a Sai-Rec member here.
ASR: Can you give us a little more information on the history of Sai-Rec? Why did Sai-Rec stop making videos?

Re: CV Breakdown: Sai-Rec
Sorry for the late reply.
Members of SAI-REC were friends from before (through the network and game events).
Fundamentally, we were investigating combos individually, although we had taken communication mutually.
At a certain time, Ceronias proposed whether we research CvsS2 combo and make its combo video together.
Therefore, from the beginning, SAI-REC was not an organization on condition of acting for a long time.

Re: CV Breakdown: Sai-Rec
I remember watching the 3rd video with a some people who aren't into fighting games, and we all watched the whole video and really enjoyed it
I really like the trailers too, there's a bunch of stuff in the trailers that i've never seen in the game.

Re: CV Breakdown: Sai-Rec
Thank you for the information!
Was "Capcom vs SNK 2 Combo Video" the last video that Sai-Rec released?
Is T-7 connected to Sai-Rec?
