Hm so Lupinko (dude who revealed the full MvC3 roster before Shuma and Jill were announced), is now saying "Super MvC3" will likely be shown at comic-con, 10 new characters including Strider.

Really? That's kinda surprising since MvC3 only sold 700k PS3 copies and 570k Xbox360 copies worldwide, and i don't think those are considered great numbers for a major title these days. By comparison, vanilla SF4 sold 3.5 million combined and SSF4 got 1.8 million.

MvC3 is still selling for $40, so if they announce an upgrade then wouldn't everyone just wait for that instead of buying vanilla MvC3 now? Well, whatever, as long as Capcom is still treating fighting games like major releases, i'm happy.

Rocket Racoon is surprising, he is basically a normal racoon with no powers but a human intelligence. I hope he ends up like a flying Arthur.
Iron Fist is awesome and makes a lot of sense.
Nova and Dr. Strange better be OP, they have flight/teleportation/energy projection and basically what ever else they need at the time
Ghost rider looks MUGEN to me, especially that bike super. Eat chain? really capcom? how long did it take you to think up that one

Yeah this has got me pretty hyped. The only thing I'm not really liking is the giant flashing X, I think that icon needed to be more noticeable but they've kinda overdone it. Anyway I think it's a lot better that it's that easy to keep track of now though. Also loving xf in the air, I really wanted this, hopefully they add some more air supers like chun's from MvC1/TvC. Definitely gonna have to try out Strider and Phoenix Wright too.

Storm had those push/pull moves waaaayyyy back in CoTA as her X-ability (like Iceman's fist and Wolverine's Berserker Charge). Weird that they're pulling them out again all of a sudden.

Yeah it's odd, it didn't look like you could use them in combos easily, just for keep away and assists, It looked like you could just mash it till time runs out vs Hagar.
Speaking of weird, wolverine got a new mash move where he yells Swiss Cheese that looks like it has no range.

I just checked and I think this tweet was deleted, but yeah, looks like even more UMvC3 characters are on the way. Probably post-release DLC.

I dunno. I mean I like Hugo but I'm not really in love with the way Capcom has been making games these past few years, and the characters I remember well don't seem to feel quite as smooth in the newer games. Will be interesting to see how he gets around fireballs, though; I wondered that for SF4 and, I have to wonder: if they can import a lot of SF4 characters into SFxT, is the opposite process made easier? will SSF4AE2012 have Poison? or a longer acronym?

If nothing else, you can think of it as a new set of animations for one of your favorite characters. Then you could make SF? Hugo Exhibition with three versions of Hugo instead of two. Can't possibly be any worse than SvC Chaos, right?

yeah at least he'll feel somewhat like Hugo. for chrissake, you had to meet "exceed" conditions to gigas break in svcc...and parrying was some kind of move...? and comboing into throws THAT'S CROSSING THE LINE
