What's the difference between Pheonix and Jean Grey.Also, wasn't she like dressing weird in the cartoons and Cyclops' girlfriend?Didn't she have telekinetic (spell check fail) powers?
If so, why does she look more like Rogue, and why is her power fire, and why does she have 0 telekinetic powers?

well Jean Grey's powers are telekinesis and sometimes telepathy.
When the Phoenix Force takes over her she becomes a God and has all the powers of life and death, meaning she can do what ever she wants, fireballs, resurrection, eating planets, that kind of thing. Most of the time it eventually leads to Jean killing herself to save the universe.

It's cool that she's in the game because she's a visually interesting character - nice costume, lots of cool effects, etc. But i hate all those stories. Jean Grey was the worst character in the cartoon by far. Constantly fainting!

Yup, he seems to have more striking attacks than gief. I'm glad they made him completely apart from a Zangief concept.

Noticed everyone that when he does the spinning clothesline he loses health? lol.

In Final Fight and a lot of beat-'em-ups, you lose life for doing a move that makes you invincible and knocks everyone away - for Haggar, the lariat was his special move.

All I asked for was that either E.Ryu or Oni had an Air Fireball Super/Ultra. I was not disapoint.

wat? he can do ultra 1 in the air? His ultra 2 is the other lv3 from 3rd strike

edit: it looks like onis u1 is super versatile, with an air version and multiple directions

When Oni does U1 (fireball) off the EX rush palm, it seems to do crap damage. I couldn't tell if the full-animation is much better.

Does E.Ryu have a hole straight through his chest, or does he just have a scar on his chest and back? I can't tell. Anyway, storywise he probably got it from Oni's U1.

People on SRK pointed out that it's probably a reference to Akuma vs. Ryu in the SFIII manga, where Akuma punches through Ryu's torso ... then later, a healthy Ryu shows up with a big scar and is like "Sup Alex, wanna fight?"

Didn't mention it, but my arcade has AE, played in a tourney today. Oni and E. Ryu were both unlocked and tourney legal - they're not OP at all, and frankly Oni is more interesting as a character. E. Ryu feels like a watered-down Akuma/Ryu mix, whereas Oni is a more refreshing Akuma/Gouken mixture. There's a lot more I could say to explain those conclusions, but I have a huge headache at the moment. Yes, they are stupid in concept, and they clearly saved money by mixing and matching some existing models...I also can't say that I like how they're perpetually on fire. Still, PRETTY ULTRAS!! (Really, they're quite beautifully animated)

Hmm, I wonder if you can go into animation with Oni's vertical or air U1 if you hit point blank...

animation? i mean it's kinda like ryu's u1, where you can get the full juggle...not sure what you mean; i know that if you K.O. with it, you get a weird black-and-white background

edit: oh right, you mean where he throws the second fireball, i completely forgot. Yeah, I haven't seen a clean-hitting aerial/anti-aerial U1 from Oni yet.
