I finally got hokutos excel to work. Its the damnedist thing, the button sequence, timing is all the same as ARIKA but if Hokuto wins the first round then zangief will survive the excel. If zangief had won the 1st round then the excel would kill him... (which was how the ARIKA version had it)

but I got the idea to see if it does more damage if hokuto loses the first round from EX3. Where in my Emotional Flow video the combo from Kairi on Sagat would kill him in training mode, but if I did the combo after killing his partner first then Sagat would be able to survive the combo.

still haven't heard anything from the PM I sent Mr. Wizard about the EX2 video being viewed at evo...

But in the meantime I'm working on my EX3 tutorial again. Choosing to softsub it for now and hardsub it later on when I get everything editted together.

from what I've heard from one of the EX3 peru players. There is a bit of a scene for EX2+ but not much for EX3. But thats still probably more than in the USA lol

was watching one of kyosukes sfexpa matches and didn't realize that there was a sudden death in the game

I think i've seen that before, or at least it looks vaguely familiar. But i'm surprised Arika/Capcom had enough foresight to disable block damage on super cancels. Props!

I think that was more on arika's end. Cause if capcom had a hand in it they must have forgotten about it when CvS2 came out and A-sakuras started mashing shoshosho lol

Haha yeah, Capcom is about 50/50 on foresight. Although at least it's better than Mortal Kombat's batting average.

Shoshosho wasn't that bad though ... because i have to defend CvS2.

I was finally able to upload my super HQ version of the emotional flow video to youtube finally. I normally got errors due to the size of the video. Now I see its on the SRK frontpage... Thanks keits lol

I also went ahead and deleted my lower quality EF videos from youtube after the super HQ one finished. I figure no point in keeping the worse lookings ones on if the best one is available.

Haha it's pretty hard to convince Valle to play old games for some reason. I don't even remember him playing SFA2 more than once or twice in his own home in all the time we used to hang out. Still worth a try though.

Anyway we were talking about some of those matches here.
