I think he does a good job of showing how broken the combo engine is but I think it's too long, many parts drag, some of the dizzy parts really bother me in particular. I liked that part of the storm combo where the opponent kept switching sides and the three iceball setup with iceman. Could just be that I'm watching it at 2 am but I found it hard to maintain interest

I remember this being a pretty terrible game but it's fun watching the Hulk run through stuff.

SNES The Incredible Hulk (USA) in 12:18.48 by Evaldo Mendes (aka Dooty)

Outrunning bullets at 5:01, headcrushing bosses at 1:58 and 5:18, flipping deadly switches at 6:10, clapping fools to death at 7:27. I also like how he stops in the middle of every elevator and waits patiently. I wonder why it took so long for someone to speedrun a game starring a famous character where running forward is an attack. Best end boss battle ever at 12:20 btw.

Still no published fighting game TASes though.

you mean no new published fighting game TASes right? Because not counting Street Fighter 2010 there are 4 published street fighter tases and 3 mortal kombat tases. Come to think of it you probably haven't seen this mk one by SDR http://tasvideos.org/1333M.html.
If you just want to watch a good tas then check out this surprisingly good Brain Age tas http://tasvideos.org/1569M.html

Yeah no recent ones. I usually check every few weeks, for fighting games and anything i remember playing. I've seen that UMK3 run too. It was pretty good. Maybe MK really is better for this sort of thing.

That's one of my favorite SDR TASs, along with the recent MKT 3 on 3 up on the Arcade forum in Tasvideos.org. If I ever see Mizoguchi no Kiki Ippatsu on Super Famicom at my local game store, I'm grabbing it - it even has combo trials. Yes, that's right, combo trials for Karnov's Revenge (with new moves).
