This is a really crazy find, and I've been meaning to test out some stuff...just haven't had time yet.
I'd be interested to know if this works in CPS1 games. I'm wondering if maybe this is a side-effect of CPS1 chains being removed.

I just don't have as much free time as I used to. I barely ever read SRK anymore, and I used to be all over that.

Re: FSD in the Versus Series
I'm not totally sure how it works in Marvel, but in XSF, "trip out of the air" and "delayed OTG" are definitely different, unrelated methods of FSD. You don't have to use an OTG with "trip out of the air", because pretty much any low-hitting move will do (even non-tripp...

Just to confirm, you're playing the "Original" mode, not "Remix" mode, right?

Re: Majestic Screenshot Gallery
It's all good. It's not like I even came up with those walk-under cross-ups myself anyway. I saw Cammy and Fei players in Tokyo actually doing that stuff in matches. As for a "Majestic Screenshot Video", I think it could be successfully pulled off if you show the all the relevant footage l...

Actually, none of that stuff is related to the content of the video. He's just talking about boring stuff like the format, the codec, different types of media players, compatibility with Vista, etc. Really there's only one thing of interest in that whole post: He recommends watching the video with h...

Re: Request Japanese translations here!
So apparently there's more than one Japanese dude who calls himself T-7. For future reference, this guy is NOT who you'd want to contact in regards to combo vid questions.

Re: Request Japanese translations here!
Hrm, despite how long that is, there's really not much info with substance. He says he's got a preview ready for his DVD, and that the preview basically contains all the combos that are in the DVD. He also says that he won't be selling the DVD, and that this will be his last project for a while. som...

Re: Random Obscure Findings
Did you guys know that ST Balrog has some fucked up chains off low short? Craaaaazy! I don't know if this is an HD glitch or its in normal st, but cammy (and apparently fei long) have to randomly block sagats standing short low. Pretty sure Sagat's st.Short hits low against everyone, even in origin...

Re: Request Japanese translations here!
Well I couldn't find any contact info anywhere on that dude's page, so I just posted a comment on a random blog post of his, asking for his new e-mail addy.
If I remember correctly, T-7 was one of the few Japanese people who would actually write a nigga back, so hopefully he'll actually reply.

D'OH! Looks like the e-mail address on T-7's page is no longer valid.
I don't suppose you have any alternate contact info? I didn't see a BBS or anything on his page.

Re: FSD in the Versus Series
what about sabertooths st.fp in xvsf? that seems to reset it. Unless it was something else that caused it. I'll try to get a video maybe this weekend and show it. That seems to be a case of "hitting on the last frame of hit-stun". When you catch the opponent out of the air with his st.Fie...

28) Can someone please explain the version differences in Marvel games in terms of combo system changes? In fact, if someone could create a thread and chart all known FS/FSD conditions once and for all, that'd be great. I'll make it worth two points if you go through the entire Marvel series. I don...

FSD in the Versus Series
This thread will serve as the authoritative guide on how to perform FSD in the versus series. Please help me fill in the missing information... "delayed OTG" refers to moves that leave the opponent laying on the ground for longer than normal, allowing you to do a very late OTG. Easiest exa...

Re: Random Obscure Findings
The knee is one of those air moves that stays active throughout your entire jump, until you reach the ground. So I guess they coded it such that if you're doing the knee and you're one frame away from the ground, you land. They didn't bother to check whether you're on your way up or on your way down...
