Re: Side Projects aka plug whatever you want

Blerp, plugging whatever I want. (pictures, click and skim) http://twitpic.com/photos/XenozipArt Which got blended over from http://xenozipstuff.blogspot.com/ This has been like the 4th time I've removed myself from the fighting game community, but there always use to be a feeling of eventual inevit...

This is pretty funny in retrospect, considering the IPS mechanic in Skullgirls by MikeZ and it's revision.

Re: Animated Hitbox Data!

For whatever reason, my u2be account is no longer infracted so it's back to being able to post long videos and unlisted videos.

More on topic though, I posted a video showing off some SS5sp hitboxes http://youtu.be/eYqux9mDdl0

Re: Animated Hitbox Data!

Thank you for the KoF 2002 hitbox script. Apparently I don't have the right romset but I'll find it. Hype for those Mai hitboxes I understand (and not the crosshairs from the dipswitches that I don't). --- Regarding the above: Nah, it's happened to other people before. Capcom claimed copyright on th...

Re: Animated Hitbox Data!

Just dropping by to mention the following: Months ago (June?) I started uploading hitbox videos for most of the BlazBlue cast. Then, ArcSys Works apparently filed a copyright claim with youtube and those videos were removed from my account (and the account of some one else who also posted a few othe...

All i'm saying is this wouldn'a happened before hitbox display. Just an observation, nothing more. (With great rectangles comes great responsibility!) Exactly what happened? Her collision box extends during her frontstep. -snip- Not sure how you got "discussion denied" from this post , wh...

Re: Random Lazy Questions

Well, i think we just stumbled into the dark side of hitboxes. I'm starting to miss the way these simple questions would've been answered before we had direct access. Overall i'm sure it's a positive change, but we definitely used to have more imaginative explanations before "don't you know? h...

Re: Random Lazy Questions

The push box. It's like a hitbox that prevents two characters from walking through one another. When you walk into a standing character your pushbox pushes the opponent around. You know the effects of this box because of claw's dive pushing characters full screen distances when other-wall diving aga...

Her collision box extends during her frontstep. Incidentally it also gets pushed back quite a bit when she activates high priestess while standing in a neutral stance.

Is there anyplace I could get framedata and/or hitbox images for 98 Mai? I noticed both the JP wiki and SRK wiki have identical data sets, which lacks anything on Mai.

Re: Animated Hitbox Data!

Umm, does it matter that the game itself was running in slow-motion in the first place? I mean, it wasn't running at 60fps to begin with. But since I don't know how it's supposed to look as apposed to how it looks now, it won't do any good for me to go check myself. Also, emulators break the sprites...

But you're right, that one does.

Youtube does this too, but it's a non-issue because forum links redirect to the SH main page rather than the forum.

Re: Random Lazy Questions

I think Melty Blood has (or had, I've heard it got removed from MBAA -> MBAACC) a priority system where certain normals would beat 2A regardless of hitboxes. It was supposed to prevent players from just being able to mash 2A out of a blockstring. Oh right. Yeah, B and C level moves gained anti-A-le...

Here are some RLQ I've been holding onto: -Does priority truly exist or is it simply hitbox/frame magic? -Does Hitstun include Hitstop frames (A.K.A. "Impact Freeze")? I have a few other basic-as-hell ones that I'll remember later. Thanks. - In pretty much every game ever it is hitbox/fra...

This is kind of interesting. I always assumed the input buffer was identical between characters but more than one person is convinced it's not, and then this video.. makes me wonder.
