Here’s something unexpected – a new Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike combo video starring Hugo! Although his combo potential is obviously limited, SofaKingAC does a great job of showing a variety of tricks and even pulling out a touch-of-death combo using a single EX move.

Awesome! I loved the trade combos with Oro and Urien, and the UOH crossup vs Elena. The Ibuki juggle was really nice too. Sweet music.
Glad everybody’s liking the video. I started playing Hugo recently to get ready for SFxT, and this came about as a result. It’s surprising how most of the combos came together so naturally.
Lots of KYSG/538 influence in the combos and a little in editing (fade-to-black transitions, ambient electronica-ish music). I’d originally wanted to make a frame/grid graphic like at the beginning of the KYSG vids, but my GIMP inexperience just got me frustrated, so I scrapped it. I might go back and finish that just for kicks.
Music choice was more out of necessity than style. It’s the shortest song in my library that isn’t a dramatic sting from a movie soundtrack.
