SSF4 Super Freeze Series Explanation by Snoooootch

There seems to be some confusion regarding Snoooootch’s Super Freeze montages, so this video provides a brief visual overview of what’s actually going on during SSF4 superfreeze.

As you can see from the match clip, slowing down playback speed using an editing program only increases the wait time between frames. In this case, all it does is make the animation look choppy. Conversely, initiating superfreeze in the SF4 series causes a fluid slow motion effect by creating a whole bunch of inbetween frames that simply don’t exist at normal speed.

i think my favorite animations are blanka tucking up into his ball and the reeling after a dash straight into crazy buffalo. super freeze in sf4 is quite awesome, i noticed slow motion right away with balrog but i never knew about the extra added frames of animation until you and snashitloadofostch pointed it out.
