The fourth set of King of Fighters XIII individual character combovids has finally been released by SNK’s Hong Kong branch. This batch covers the classic Art of Fighting team and the Ikari Warriors team – with plenty of high-powered damage to go around.

Clark, Leona, Ralf, Robert, Ryo, and Takuma make up the fourth batch. This time we’ve got Ryo with a full damage combo, along with everyone else reaching the 90% damage mark with the exception of Robert. By the way i’m really digging Takuma’s new look. He reminds me of the cheesy old karate master in Return of the Street Fighter.

The graphics for XIII continue to impress me, as do easily executable 90% damage combos :)
Agreed. Takuma looks like a bad ass. They’ve got a great character designer there, I love his hunched look. And that he can basically do Shin Shoryuken into Misogi. :P
I thought Takuma was going for the Orochi Doppo (from Baki the Grappler) look, sans eyepatch. Either way, he’s on the shortlist of characters I want to try out when I get a chance to play.
Really cool of SNK (even if it’s not the main branch of the company) to do stuff like this. Shows off a lot of the appeal of the base game (sweet graphics, fancy moves, big combos), not to mention it’s a decent starting point for people looking to get into certain characters. I can only pray they get their act together on certain “other” aspects once the console version comes out.
