Whoever comes up with the best title gets to nominate two MatchVid of the Day candidates. As always, the rules are one entry per person and i’ll choose my favorite on Tuesday.
RBFF2 Chonshu’s Teiou Syukukyo Ken serpents collide with Chonrei’s Taiou Shukumei Ken stationary projectile, bringing it to the forefront above Chonrei’s Taiou Ryukoe Ken blast. The optimization step is always the hardest part of setting up these super clashes – trying to fit as much of each sprite as possible within the frame, while minimizing overlap.
Here are some alternate variants i captured along the way to the final version above:
Sibling Rivalry.
Dragonball Jin.
Is it OK if I vote for this?
Because it’s true on some rather interesting levels =3
“Fire and Ice”
Emission Spectroscopy
“Whoa, I didn’t say I was ready!”
How to Train Your Dragon
“Hard Work & Original Content VS. Ability to Compile & No Morals”
I see what you did there.
Sorry about the delayed response. I kind of like the sibling rivalry one because it’s so simple and fits pretty much perfectly. So we’ll just go with that.
Snatcher: Congratulations, you get to choose two match videos to be featured on ComboVid during the next week or so. The only restriction is that they must be uploaded to the proper channels – either belonging to the event organizers or to one of the players. (I don’t want to support people who try to get attention by ripping stream matches or stealing from other websites.)
Match 1: Noguchi (Claw) Vs. Yuuvega (Dictator)
Match 2: D44BAS (A-Are) Vs. Pinokio (K-Hibiki/Sagat/Cammy-R2)

One down, one to go. Except that ST match seems to be uploaded by someone who had nothing to do with it. Mind picking another?
(Pretty cool match though. I like the crazy corner slide at 7:30.)
VDO (Rogue/Colossus/Ken) Vs. Potter (Santhrax)
Let me know if this one is no good.
Also, is there any way that we can edit our comments? I don’t trust my HTML writing ability!
I didn’t realize that video was more than one match, ignore that link and check the one at
