New ComboVid Logo

What do you guys think of the new ComboVid logo? The idea for it was originally sketched on a piece of paper by jchensor, then photographed and transmitted via cell phone, because we live in the future now! Keiko helped me with drafting it in photoshop and choosing the font, and we ended up with what you see above. Not too shabby, right?

For reference, here’s the ghetto old logo created in MS Paint twenty minutes before the site went live.

  2. Keiko says:

I had to used Corel Draw to make the Vector lines for the skeleton of the logo, the rest was all edited in Photoshop.
After many drafts i ended up with that one, wich made some justice to the original Jchensor logo idea.

Looks good, I just noticed the turtle as well haha.

  4. Maj says:

Yeah i added the turtle a couple of days ago. It gave me an excuse to buy us more time while we got the logo done. I had asked another friend of mine to help me with it but he never got back to me. That’s why it took so long.

Er, i mean, everything was totally on schedule the whole time, because we’re totally professional around here. The turtle just took a really long time to get in place because that is the nature of turtles.

Look like a video game logo, to be honest :D. Overall, it’s a great logo.

I didn’t know you were looking to make a logo. It looks good though. Simple yet bold. Trait for success!

Yesterday while driving back home I noticed the car in front of me had a similar design as the site’s new logo, lol.

I guess you might be talking about the Infiniti logo, which is close to what we have except upside-down. Haha maybe jchensor subconsciously wants a new car?
