The official Capcom-Unity channel has posted a new Marvel vs Capcom 3 trailer from Tokyo Game Show, along with extended gameplay trailers featuring Tron Bonne and X-23, and a full match Tron Bonne/Trish/Chun Li vs Wolverine/Thor/X23 (all embedded after the jump).
What do you guys think? The roster has definitely taken a turn toward the obscure, but both new characters seem to have quite a bit of effort invested in designing and animating them.
would anyone have guessed Tron Bonne would be the first megaman character confirmed? Not a fan myself. Not a fan of X-23 ether, I mean we already have deadpool who is like a cross between spider-man and wolverine, do they really need a cross between wolverine and a teenage prostitute too ( her origin story ). I do understand the choice, because there are not very many good marvel characters from the last 10 years, besides Amadeus Cho of course.
X-23 is a smart choice. They basically have two Wolverines already in MvC2, so the move designs for two full characters are already there. I’m not that into her either, but she beats Bonerine, right?
Anyway i’m hoping for a few more cosmic Marvel characters. Even like Dr. Strange would be an awesome addition. Just some legitimately powerful characters that can fill the screen with boom.
